Captain Al

Capt. Al has been fishing on party boats for over 63 years. Capt. Al has always had boats. Capt. Al put in 25 years as a Newark police officer for the State of New Jersey. Capt. Al would work his shift on the force all night and drive home to the shore and go striped bass fishing. The Prowler 5 is one of the fastest and nicest party boats around. Capt. Al's specialty is fluke fishing. Capt. Al has been landing door mat fluke for his customers for years.

Captain Scott

Capt. Scott's favorite time of the year is to fish the winter. Scott specializes in bottom fishing... blackfish, ling, cod, seabass. Scott is not afraid to put his slickers on and go down on deck and work for his customers. Scott will try harder then any other captain around to please his customers. Scott's main concern in the business is to take care of his customers. Scott received his license when he was 19 years old and is one of the most experienced licensed captains in the area with 25 years of experience.

Captain Glenn

Capt. Glenn is the Prowler 5's engineer.  Glenn is very mechanically inclined.  Glenn takes care of all Coast Guard inspections, making sure everything is running right and in tip top shape.  Capt. Glenn's favorite trips are the off shore trips.  When Glenn's not out on the water, he's hunting.  Glenn loves hunting almost as much as he loves fishing.  If he's not up in a tree stand he's on the water.  Glenn is going bear hunting at the end of the summer.

Captain Ed Bunting

Capt. Ed Bunting, nicknamed Mundis.  Capt. Ed Bunting owns the Sea Horse.  He comes out with the Prowler 5 on all of our Hudson Canyon tuna trips.  Capt. Ed is one of the reasons we always come in with great catches from the off shore trips.  Capt. Ed has a special act of chumming these big fish.  He is also one of the captains on these trips and one hell of a fisherman.

Captain Jack Bevins

Capt. Jack, formerly of the Teal is a striper specialist, especially in the Sandy Hook area. He has all the hot spots throughout the bay and the ocean. Capt. Jack is very knowledgable when it comes to this industry. Capt. Jack runs the 3:30 to 9:00 pm trips. He also runs every day in the Fall, eeling for striped bass.

Mark

Mark has been working on the Prowler 5 for over 10 years.  He works every day - year around.  Mark works deck on the Prowler 5 whenever Capt. Scott is running the boat.  Mark is an excellent deck technician and is not afraid of working in the cold.  All the bottom customers know Mark.  Mark is excellent at putting the double anchor lines out in the cold.  No one comes close to filleting ling and blackfish or any other fish like Mark can.  Mark is the kid of guy that never wants a day off.
